Comrade Ha shared: “With the responsibility of a trade union official assigned by the Party, I always strive to excellently complete the assigned tasks. Since taking on the role of Chairman of the My Tho City Labor Federation in 2016, Comrade Ha has led the unit to achieve many outstanding achievements. The My Tho City Labor Federation has been an "Excellent Emulation" unit for many consecutive years, receiving the Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Tien Giang Provincial Labor Federation. Not only managing 216 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) with more than 16,000 union members, Comrade Ha also directly directs many activities to care for the lives, protect the rights of workers and build a strong union organization.
As the “leader” of the My Tho City Labor Union, comrade Ha is especially interested in taking care of the lives of union members and workers. In the past 6 years alone, the My Tho City Labor Union has supported over 10,000 union members and workers in difficulty with a total amount of over 5 billion VND; given over 12,000 Tet gifts, worth 3.2 billion VND; awarded over 1,500 scholarships to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances; built 25 “Union Warm Houses” with a total value of over 1.5 billion VND.
Not only that, with his role, comrade Ha directed and operated the unit and the affiliated trade unions to carefully organize the Lunar New Year activities, the programs "Tet Sum Vay", "Celebrating the Party - Celebrating Spring" ... attracting a large number of union members and employees to participate. Many valuable gifts such as motorbikes, refrigerators, washing machines ... were given to union members and employees, demonstrating the sharing and deep concern of the trade union organization.
In addition, comrade Ha said that when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, he quickly directed the grassroots trade unions to support more than 700 union members and employees who were F0, F1, F2 with an amount of more than 1.3 billion VND, distributed more than 2,500 social security bags, mobilized resources to support necessities worth over 1 billion VND and coordinated vaccination for more than 12,000 employees. Support models such as "Union Medicine Bag" were also effectively implemented, contributing to helping union members and employees overcome the difficult period of the pandemic.
BUILDING UNION ORGANIZATIONS AND DEVELOPING UNION MEMBERS
Comrade Ha shared: “I myself used to work directly as a worker, so I deeply understand the circumstances, thoughts and aspirations of workers. It is this empathy that has helped me propose practical solutions, contributing to improving the quality of trade union activities, building trust and attachment of workers to the trade union organization.”

In the period of 2019 - 2024, My Tho City Labor Federation has newly established 50 grassroots unions (achieving 147.02% of the target) and developed more than 6,100 union members (achieving 139.06% of the target). Comrade Ha also paid special attention to training and fostering cadres with more than 2,200 union cadres receiving professional training, studying political theory. In addition, Comrade Ha also advised on the effective implementation of Project 03 of the Provincial Party Committee on developing Party organizations in non-state enterprises and admitted 11 new party members, establishing 2 enterprise party cells.
Comrade Ha directed the Trade Unions to actively negotiate and sign 91 Collective Labor Agreements, reaching a rate of 100%; of which, more than 82% had 4 or more provisions that were beneficial to employees. Important contents such as shift meals, leave, maternity benefits, etc. were guaranteed to be higher than the law. In addition, he also directed to include the content of ensuring shift meals in the dialogue and Labor Agreement, with a minimum level of 20,000 VND/meal.
As Chairman of the My Tho City Labor Federation, Comrade Ha has always been at the forefront of innovation in trade union activities, with typical models such as: "Trade Union Mutual Support" (2019), "Trade Union Accompanying Workers to Overcome Difficulties" (2021), "Trade Union Medicine Bag" (2022), "Trade Union Officials Leading Digital Transformation" (2023), and "Each Trade Union Branch - A Destination" (2024) all bringing positive results, linking the Trade Union with the real life of union members and workers. These initiatives are not only recognized at the grassroots level, but also create a strong spread throughout the system.
Together with the My Tho City Labor Federation and local trade unions, comrade Ha launched the movement "Good workers - Creative workers", attracting the participation of thousands of union members and workers with more than 4,800 initiatives, many of which contributed to saving, improving production processes and serving administrative reform. From 2019 to present, more than 2,100 workers, civil servants and laborers of My Tho City have been recognized as "Emulation fighters" at all levels and more than 5,300 have achieved the title of "Good workers".
With their contributions to the Trade Union organization and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers, the My Tho City Labor Federation and comrade Ha personally have been awarded many Emulation Flags and Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and all levels of the industry. In 2023 alone, the My Tho City Labor Federation was also selected as a representative Trade Union Congress unit of the Tien Giang Provincial Labor Federation, contributing to the orientation of organizing Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the 2023-2028 term of the province.
Simple, friendly but always decisive and creative in work, comrade Ha - a female union officer is always dedicated, exemplary in leading union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in My Tho city and Tien Giang province.
