The final night of Miss Student Vietnam 2024 with the theme of Original Beauty took place on the evening of December 15 in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh . 27 contestants took turns going through the following competitions: Ao Dai performance, swimsuit, evening gown and behavior.
In particular, the top 5 have an additional contest to draw a set of paintings and decode the painting, present and convey the story to highlight their own perspective.
The judges for the final night include director Nguyen Truong Son (Head of the jury), historian Duong Trung Quoc, supermodel Ha Anh, artist Ha Thu Huong...
Surpassing 26 contestants, Duong Tra Giang (registration number 888) was crowned Miss Student Vietnam 2024. The beauty is 1.7m tall with measurements of 86-60-91.
Duong Tra Giang was born in 2005, currently studying Marketing and Communication at the School of Business Administration, Vietnam National University, Hanoi .
The beauty was determined to lose 12 kg because of her overweight appearance to pursue her dream of winning the beauty queen crown.

In the behavioral round, when receiving the topic of Human Life , Duong Tra Giang said that the paintings the Organizing Committee brought depicted the beauty of Vietnamese women at different ages.
She said, "Time is infinite, but life is short, so living life to the fullest and not wasting it is my point of view." From there, Duong Tra Giang shared more: "It doesn't matter what stage you are living in, just live with everything you have, live meaningfully and sincerely."
Tra Giang said that her parents wanted her to enter a beauty pageant. She also planned to do so to gain experience and develop herself. By chance, a friend introduced her to this year's Miss Vietnamese Student pageant.
The title of first runner-up went to contestant Dinh Ngan Ha (Foreign Trade University, Hanoi); second runner-up went to contestant Truong Thi Ngoc Lan from Thang Long University. The third runner-up titles were contestants Tran Thanh Truc and Nguyen Linh Chi, both from the University of Foreign Languages (Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
The prize for first runner-up is 1 billion VND, second runner-up receives 900 million VND and third runner-up is 600 million VND.
The Organizing Committee also awarded the following secondary prizes: Truong Thi Ngoc Lan (Most Favorite Beauty); Nguyen Linh Chi (Most Beautiful Body); Vu Thuy Tien (Most Beautiful Face); Dinh Ngan Ha (Most Talented Beauty)...
Miss Student Vietnam seeks and honors comprehensive beauty from knowledge, intelligence, spirit to physicality. The contest sends a message about the value of youth, dedication and the importance of knowledge in spreading the beauty of Vietnam to international friends.
