Nui Thanh honors 13 families and 65 individuals for outstanding voluntary blood donations

(QNO) - This morning, April 28, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Nui Thanh district held a ceremony to launch the Humanitarian Month and honor and reward outstanding blood donors in 2025.

Humanitarian Month 2025 with the theme "Humanitarian Journey - Spreading Love" was carried out in May throughout the district.

The specific content of the Humanitarian Month is to mobilize 100 - 200 million VND for the Humanitarian Fund and the Agent Orange Victim Support Fund (achieving 50 - 70% of the target in 2025); mobilize resources to implement the program "Nutrition for poor and disabled children", activities to support nutrition and improve learning and living conditions for poor and disabled children at school.

Coordinated humanitarian medical examination and treatment for 200 people; mobilized support for at least 100 people in difficult circumstances. At least 15 humanitarian addresses were introduced and connected for support; in which each commune and town supported at least 1-2 new addresses.

In addition, start construction and repair of 4 humanitarian houses with a budget of 120 million VND; mobilize at least 5 people to register to donate human tissues and organs in 2025...

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district honored and rewarded 13 families and 65 individuals with outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation in 2025.
