Sam Son sea water suddenly splits into 2 colors: blue and yellow

On the afternoon of June 23, a leader of the People's Committee of Sam Son City, Thanh Hoa Province, said that he had received information about the phenomenon of Sam Son sea water appearing in two colors: green and yellow.

According to the leader, this phenomenon appears many times at Sam Son beach because Sam Son beach is near the mouth of the Ma River. When it rains heavily, water from the upper Ma River flows down, carrying alluvium. When it flows out to the mouth of the sea, the above phenomenon will appear.

Previously, on the morning of June 23, Facebook was abuzz with images and videos of the Sam Son beach appearing in two contrasting colors, one side blue and the other side opaque yellow, not blending together.

According to the investigation, the above images were taken by Mr. Nguyen Khanh Lan (residing in Trung Son ward, Sam Son city) at around 11:00 am on June 22. According to Mr. Lan, the phenomenon of the Sam Son sea surface "dividing in two" lasted until around 2:00 pm on the same day and then disappeared on Sam Son beach.

According to Mr. Lan, he accidentally captured the above image while testing an unmanned aerial vehicle (Flycam). Seeing the strange phenomenon, he recorded it and shared it on social media.
