On February 25, G-Dragon officially released his 3rd album "Übermensch" with the MV "Too bad" (title song) in collaboration with American rapper Anderson .Paak and the MV "Drama".

According to Korea Joongang Daily, immediately after its release, the latest music product of the "Kpop king" became the center of attention in the international music scene.

As of noon on February 25, the song "Too bad" ranked No. 1 on the charts in Korea including MelOn, Genie, Bugs, reaching more than 1.1 million views.

Other songs from G-Dragon's third album also entered the top 10 of the Melon chart, with "Home sweet home" at number 3, "Drama" at number 5, "Ibelongiiu" at number 8, and "Take me" at number 10.

The music video for the song "Too bad" featuring Karina from the group aespa has surpassed 1.5 million views on YouTube after 3 hours of release. The MV for "Drama" has reached over 1 million views on YouTube after 3 hours of release.

"Too bad" and "Drama" are two MVs with two contrasting colors. "Drama" is a ballad, about the pain of losing the angel he loves. In the MV, G-Dragon is like a wind-up toy or a doll in a music box, dancing according to the player's arrangement.

This is an English song, with a Chinese, Japanese and Korean sentence added at the end of verse 1, 2 and the bridge. Notably, the keyword about G-Dragon climbed straight to the top 1 search in China with just one Chinese sentence in "Drama": "You always ask me how deep I love you".

"Too bad" is the title track of "Übermensch". The song has a cheerful rhythm, playful melody with positive energy, making the audience want to dance to the music. In this song, he collaborated with rapper Anderson .Paak.

In particular, Kpop fans could not hide their excitement when the MV featured Karina (aespa). The top goddess of the 4th generation of K-Pop also had a charming duet dance with G-Dragon that made the audience "restless".

In addition to the music, G-Dragon also brings a feast for the eyes in the MV "Too bad". He constantly transforms with many unique outfits, with a characteristic rebellious style.

"Übermensch" is G-Dragon's latest studio album after 11 years and 5 months since the release of "Coup d'Etat" in September 2013.

The album has a total of 8 songs, including 2 previously released songs "Power", "Home sweet home" and 6 new songs "Too Bad", "Drama", "Ibelongiiu", "Take Me", "Bonamana", "Gyro-Drop".

The album title "Ubermensch" is derived from Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophy, referring to "Superman" or "Beyond-Man" - an individual who transcends his own limits.

Through this album, G-Dragon wants to show a stronger and more resilient image of himself, a person who has overcome his own challenges.

After announcing the new album, G-Dragon will kick off his world tour with two opening concerts titled Übermensch in Korea at Goyang Stadium, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, on March 29 and 30.

Next destinations are expected to include most of Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand.
