Mr. Le Quoc Long was appointed General Director of SeABank.

On November 24, with the approval of the State Bank of Vietnam, the Board of Directors of Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( SeABank , stock code SSB) officially announced and awarded the decision to appoint Mr. Le Quoc Long to the position of General Director.

Mr. Le Quoc Long was born in 1965, with a bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting ( Hanoi University of Finance and Accounting) and a major in Law ( Hanoi Law University), and has more than 30 years of experience working in the banking and finance sector in Vietnam. Mr. Le Quoc Long joined SeABank in 2005 as Deputy General Director, and has concurrently held many other important management positions of the Bank... With 30 years of experience in the banking sector, including 18 years as Deputy General Director and assigned to the position of Acting General Director in charge of the Bank's operations from August 1, 2023, Mr. Le Quoc Long has made important contributions to the development of SeABank. He has been trusted by the Bank's Board of Directors, highly appreciated for his experience, professional capacity as well as his dedication and commitment to the development of the Bank and appointed as General Director of SeABank from November 24, 2023. Mr. Le Van Tan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SeABank, said: After a period of holding the position of Acting General Director, Mr. Le Quoc Long has demonstrated his management and executive capacity, helping SeABank's operations develop stably. "I believe that, with his extensive experience in the field of finance and banking management, especially with his seniority and enthusiasm working at SeABank over the past 18 years, Mr. Le Quoc Long will join hands with the management staff and employees throughout the system to develop SeABank to successfully complete the set strategic goals, thereby bringing the highest benefits to customers, employees and shareholders," Mr. Le Van Tan shared. With the appointment of Mr. Le Quoc Long as General Director, SeABank has completed its senior management team with 9 members who are all experienced personnel in many fields, have many years of experience and are committed to working long-term at SeABank to continue to develop the Bank towards the goal of becoming the most favorite retail bank, promoting digital transformation and international integration, contributing to the successful implementation of the proposed strategies.
Established in 1994, SeABank has more than 2.5 million customers, more than 5,400 employees and 181 transaction points nationwide. SeABank is considered one of the pillars in the banking system with a charter capital of VND 24,537 billion, ranked Ba3 by Moody's in many important categories, and is one of the first banks to implement Basel III international risk management standards. According to the "Digital Convergence" development strategy, SeABank focuses on digitizing products and services as well as applying technology in internal operations and investing in building modern technology infrastructure to optimize processes, increase operational efficiency, bring customers a different experience of digital banking services, aiming to become the most favorite retail bank.
