Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi received a new assignment at the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, has been assigned the additional task of Secretary of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies for the 2020-2025 term.

On February 3, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on the establishment, termination, and dissolution of Party organizations. The conference was chaired by Politburo member and Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen.

At the Conference, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee announced the decision to establish the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies directly under the City Party Committee.

This agency consists of 30 grassroots Party organizations and 3,252 Party members. Of which, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, was assigned the additional task of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies, term 2020 - 2025. In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, holds the task of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Ms. Le Thi Hong Nga, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City, were both assigned to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party agencies.

Also at the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee decided to establish the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Party Committee under the City Party Committee, including 51 grassroots party organizations and 6,924 party members. The City Party Committee also appointed the Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee; the Party Committee Inspection Committee, the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Party Committee Inspection Committee of the City People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term and the 2025-2030 term.

In which, the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee awarded the decision to appoint Mr. Phan Van Mai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, as Secretary of the City Party Committee.
