On the morning of September 16, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi presented the key content of Resolution 70 of the Politburo on ensuring national energy security until 2030, with a vision to 2045, and the action program to implement the resolution.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi stated that the resolution sets out the requirement to firmly ensure energy security for national development in the new era - one of the important pillars of emerging non-traditional security.

He stated that the resolution includes 5 groups of guiding viewpoints; target groups until 2030, vision to 2045 and 7 groups of major tasks and solutions.

Prices for all types of energy follow market mechanisms, without cross-subsidization between customer groups.
