Mr. Tran Huu Duc was re-elected as Secretary of the Radio and Television Journalists Association of districts, towns and cities for the 2023-2025 term.

Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association of the province, Director of Long An Radio and Television Station - Le Hong Phuoc presented flowers and congratulated the congress.

The District, Town and City Radio Journalists Association was established from journalist members working at the Cultural - Information and Radio Centers of districts, towns and cities in the province. At the beginning of the term, the Association had 20 members. In the work of developing members in the last term, 1 member transferred his activities to the Association.

During the past term, members have successfully completed their assigned tasks, had a firm ideological and political stance, worked with peace of mind, and had a sense of responsibility. Their propaganda works were in line with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; gained trust among the people, and had good works conveying the people's legitimate thoughts and aspirations to the Party and the State; exceeded the emulation targets assigned by Long An Radio and Television, and actively collaborated with Long An Newspaper and other information sites in the province. The press awards received good attention and participation from members and reporters, and many awards were won.

Delegates vote to elect the Secretariat of the Association for the 2023 - 2025 term. However, the activities of the Radio Journalists Association of districts, towns and cities still have some limitations: the Secretariat has not proactively scheduled the valid time of the Association, the information system to members is still slow and limited, and the number of members participating in the Association's valid meetings has not been guaranteed according to the regulations.

In the new term, the Association will continue to improve the level of political theory, expertise, professional skills and professional ethics for members; regularly consolidate the organization, innovate the content and methods of operation of the Association in accordance with the conditions and actual situation; gather and unite members, support each other in work.

The association mobilizes members to participate in high-quality press works as well as provincial press awards. The association ensures the regularity of the Secretariat and the association; well implements the information and reporting regime with the Vietnam Journalists Association of the province, etc.

The Congress elected the Secretariat of the District, Town and City Radio and Television Journalists Association for the 2023-2025 term, consisting of 2 journalists (1 vacancy). Journalist Tran Huu Duc was re-elected as Secretary of the Association./.
