Mr. Vu Manh Ha was appointed as Permanent Deputy Minister of Health.

Mr. Vu Manh Ha, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, has just been appointed to the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of Health.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1881/QD-TTg dated September 3, 2025 on receiving and appointing Mr. Vu Manh Ha, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of Health .

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing.

Mr. Vu Manh Ha was born on April 12, 1979, hometown Xuan Truong district, Nam Dinh province (formerly), majoring in general medicine, senior political theory.

Before being accepted and appointed as Permanent Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Vu Manh Ha held the following positions: Standing Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Director of Ha Giang Eye Hospital (formerly); Deputy Director of Ha Giang Provincial Department of Health; Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ha Giang Province; Secretary of Hoang Su Phi District Party Committee (Ha Giang) and Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Vu Manh Ha has made many contributions to ophthalmological research, volunteering to examine, treat and perform eye surgery for ethnic minorities and disadvantaged people in the highlands of Ha Giang province.

Mr. Vu Manh Ha joined the Vietnam Ophthalmological Association and the Vietnam Young Physicians Association. In 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Party, Mr. Vu Manh Ha was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee./.
