Joining the Etihad Stadium in 2021 for a record £100 million, Jack Grealish played brilliantly in Man City's treble-winning season.

However, since the 2024/25 season, the English midfielder has lost form. Grealish has only played 32 games in all competitions, with half of them starting.

According to the Telegraph, the future of the 29-year-old expensive star will become uncertain when Pep Guardiola plans to remove him from the list of players registered for the Club World Cup in the US in the middle of this month.

Regarding speculation surrounding Jack Grealish's future, Pep Guardiola shared: "Jack is a good player and should play football continuously.

However, that has not happened this season or last season. He needs to maintain his form with Man City or somewhere else.

It's a big question for Jack, his agent and the club. If he stays, that's fine, Jack will fight to get his place back."

According to the British media, Pep Guardiola has almost closed the door on his student at Etihad. Man City is ready to listen to transfer offers related to Jack Grealish.

For that reason, the former Aston Villa midfielder will be left out of the list of players registered for the Club World Cup.
