Malaysian reporter highly appreciates Tien Linh

Attending the Vietnamese team's training session for the first time, Malaysian reporters highly appreciated striker Tien Linh before the match with their home team.

Unlike previous training sessions in Kuala Lumpur, the training session on the afternoon of June 8 of the Vietnamese team took place under the harsh sunlight, greatly challenging the physical strength of the players.

However, the whole team still maintains a spirit of determination and high concentration in each practice session to prepare for the match with host Malaysia in the second match of Group F of the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup on June 10.

In this training session, Coach Kim Sang Sik continued to perfect the tactical aspects of the Vietnamese team. The Korean coach also reviewed and selected the optimal personnel for the starting lineup in the upcoming match.

Notably, Malaysian media was also present at the Vietnam national team's training ground for the first time to record the training atmosphere of coach Kim Sang Sik and his team. Among them was reporter Zulhelmi Zainal Azam of Astro Arena TV channel.

Knowing that naturalized strikers Nguyen Xuan Son and Cong Phuong cannot participate due to injury, reporter Zulhelmi also pointed out the remaining names that are dangers to the Malaysian team such as Hoang Duc, Hai Long, Tien Linh...

Reporter Zulhelmi commented: "Tien Linh is a player worth watching in this match. He has good scoring ability and often causes difficulties for the Malaysian defense in previous confrontations."

Talking about the upcoming match, reporter Zulhelmi commented: "Malaysia has home field advantage but also faces difficulties because many key players are late to gather, especially the group playing abroad. Meanwhile, Vietnam has to play under great pressure from the audience at Bukit Jalil Stadium. I think the chance of winning is equal for both teams."

According to the plan, tomorrow afternoon (June 9), the Vietnamese team will have a practice session to get acquainted with the main stadium Bukit Jalil. Earlier in the morning of the same day, coach Kim Sang Sik and captain Duy Manh will attend a press conference before the match.
