More than 20 billion VND allocated to 4 localities affected by storm No. 12

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), as of 3:00 p.m. on October 30, 2025, the VFF system and the Relief Mobilization Committees at all levels have mobilized VND 2,240,987 billion from agencies, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to support people to overcome the damage caused by storms No. 10, No. 11, No. 12 and floods.

According to statistics from the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, as of 3:00 p.m. on October 30, individuals, units, and organizations had registered to support over VND 1,114.25 billion, of which the amount transferred directly to the accounts of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee was over VND 463.5 billion; the amount transferred to the Fatherland Front of localities was VND 118.5 billion; Thien Tam Fund - VinGroup Corporation directly coordinated with the Fatherland Front to deploy the VND 500 billion support package in localities (currently supported VND 207.41 billion).

Faced with the heavy losses caused by storm No. 12 in recent days, on October 30, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee continued to allocate 20 billion VND in support to 4 provinces and cities: Quang Tri, Quang Ngai , Da Nang, Hue - each locality received 5 billion VND.

On the afternoon of October 30, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu led the delegation to inspect the work of preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of rain and floods in Hue and Da Nang. Accompanying the delegation, on behalf of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, directly presented support to the two cities of Da Nang and Hue, each locality 5 billion VND. This amount of money is the sentiment of the people nationwide supporting through the receiving account number of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front with the hope that it will be allocated promptly, publicly and transparently to the people affected by rain and floods, contributing more resources for each family to soon stabilize production and life.

Thus, as of October 30, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee has allocated 448,182 billion VND (accounting for 96.7%) to 19 provinces and cities to support flood and storm recovery activities, including: Thai Nguyen (45.12 billion VND); Quang Tri, Nghe An, Ha Tinh (40.5 billion VND); Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang (35 billion VND); Lang Son (30.5 billion VND); Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa (25.5 billion VND); Lao Cai (25 billion VND); Bac Ninh (20.062 billion VND); Phu Tho (20 billion VND); Son La (15 billion VND); Hung Yen, Hai Phong (10 billion VND); Hue, Da Nang (15 billion VND); Quang Ngai, Dien Bien (5 billion VND).

According to the reports of 27/34 provinces and cities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front system in localities has mobilized 1,126,737 billion VND; of which, Hanoi mobilized and supported localities with 145 billion VND; Ho Chi Minh City mobilized 103,998 billion VND, supported localities with 67.2 billion VND; Ha Tinh province mobilized over 195,634 billion VND, allocated and supported local people with 180.13 billion VND; Nghe An province mobilized and supported local people with over 49 billion VND; Bac Ninh province mobilized and supported local people with over 70.22 billion VND...
