With a favorable geographical location, rich tourism resources, and a synchronously invested service system, Bac Giang strives to develop tourism into an important economic sector. In order to promote the development of Bac Giang tourism, the Provincial Party Standing Committee recently issued Resolution No. 112-NQ/TU on tourism development for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030. Accordingly, the province aims to form a number of large-scale provincial-level tourism and comprehensive service areas by 2030, creating a spillover effect to become a national tourist area, building the tourism brand of Bac Giang as an attractive destination in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.

The goal by 2025 is to strive to increase all tourism competitiveness criteria, in line with sustainable development requirements; to welcome at least 3 million visitors, with total revenue from tourists reaching 3 trillion VND; to create jobs for about 6 thousand workers. By 2030, tourism will truly be an important and sustainably developed economic sector; to strive to welcome 7.5 million visitors, with total revenue from tourists reaching 7.5 trillion VND, creating about 10 thousand jobs.

It can be said that there is still a lot of room for tourism development in Bac Giang. The issue of developing tourism into an important economic sector at this time is both appropriate and takes advantage of opportunities and trends in tourism development in general, and is also suitable for the reality of our province. To achieve the above goals, the province has set out tasks and solutions such as strengthening the leadership of Party committees at all levels, improving the capacity and effectiveness of state management, promoting the role of the people to actively participate in tourism development; doing a good job of planning key tourist areas and spots with great potential.

At the same time, build mechanisms and policies for tourism development; mobilize investment resources to develop infrastructure and technical facilities for tourism; improve the quality of human resources, develop tourism products; promote, advertise, build brands and cooperate and link to develop tourism...

Currently, Bac Giang province has 3 main types of tourism: Spiritual culture, historical-cultural and ecological resort. Currently, Bac Giang has more than 700 provincial-level historical and cultural relics; including 103 national relics and 4 special national relics. In addition to Tay Yen Tu relic and scenic area, many attractive tourist destinations of Bac Giang are loved by tourists such as: Xuong Giang victory site, Khe Ro primeval forest, Suoi Mo eco-tourism area, Ban Ven community tourism site...

Bac Giang province aims to develop 5 tourism spaces including: Tay Yen Tu tourism space (Son Dong district, Luc Nam district - the southeast area of ​​the province); Tourism space associated with Yen The Uprising (Yen The district, Tan Yen district - the northwest area of ​​the province); Tourism, sports and entertainment service space (Bac Giang city, Yen Dung district, Viet Yen district - the central and southern areas of the province); Agricultural eco-tourism space (Luc Ngan district, Luc Nam district - the northeast area of ​​the province); Quan Ho cultural space (Viet Yen district, Hiep Hoa district - the southwest area of ​​the province).

From now until 2025, Bac Giang plans to develop and form at least 1 national tourist area, accelerate the completion of the construction of Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourist area, build a number of new golf courses, Yen Dung golf course and services in the next phase, attract investment in building a complex of eco-tourism resorts, sports and entertainment, a number of service areas, and high-class hotels in Bac Giang city.

The province will mobilize resources, focus on implementing a number of key projects such as building the Provincial Cultural - Fair - Exhibition Center, the provincial stadium, the provincial music and dance theater...; support, promote the implementation and formation of existing tourism projects (Tay Yen Tu spiritual - ecological tourism area, Truc Lam - Phuong Hoang Zen Monastery...); attract large investors to invest in tourism in Khuon Than, Nham Bien, Dong Cao, Suoi Mo...; increase the capacity to serve tourist accommodation; plan and invest in expanding special national relics such as Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Bo Da pagoda, Yen The uprising relic.../.
