Traffic diversion for Kien bridge repair

Hai Phong City Department of Construction announces traffic diversion to serve the repair of Kien Bridge (at km20+590/National Highway 10).

From 6:00 a.m. on November 15, 2025, traffic will be diverted to repair the bridge deck and expansion joints of Kien Bridge (illustrative photo).

To ensure traffic safety during the repair of the bridge deck and expansion joints of Kien Bridge (at km20+590/National Highway 10) in Hai Phong City, the Department of Construction announced that from 6:00 a.m. on November 15, 2025, trucks with a carrying capacity of over 7.5 tons (according to the certificate of technical safety inspection and environmental protection) will be prohibited from traveling through Kien Bridge.

Diversion for trucks over 7.5 tons from Thien Huong to Quan Toan and vice versa according to the following routes: Route 1, National Highway 10 - Provincial Road 351 - Provincial Road 359 - Binh Bridge - Hung Vuong Street - Quan Toan. Route 2, National Highway 10 - Provincial Road 352 - Dinh Bridge - National Highway 17B - National Highway 5 - Quan Toan.

During the above temporary traffic diversion period, drivers are requested to comply with the road sign system and instructions of traffic control forces at the scene.

The Department of Construction requests that the investor, Road Management Area I, take the lead and coordinate with the contractor to contact and unify with the functional forces to coordinate traffic regulation; manage and ensure smooth and safe traffic. Bear all responsibility if traffic safety measures are not fully implemented, causing traffic accidents from the date of receiving the handover of the site and construction site.

When there is congestion within the construction area, the investor will arrange people at both ends of the construction segment to regulate one-way traffic.

Check, supervise, and direct the contractor during the above traffic regulation and diversion period. Fully equipped with flags, whistles, labor protection equipment, walkie-talkies, cones with reflective strips for the entire road surface, barriers with signs P.101 "No road", P.122 "Stop", W.227 "Construction site" and warning flashing lights.

Request the Traffic Police Department, City Police; Police and People's Committees of Hong An Ward and Thien Huong Ward to coordinate in regulating traffic and handling violations according to regulations.
