After 10 editions, the National Award for Foreign Information has become a creative forum, a prestigious intellectual playground, gathering thousands of quality works, vividly reflecting the image of the country, people and comprehensive development achievements of Vietnam.
With its rich and diverse nature in genres, from newspapers, books, photos to multimedia products, the Award has been contributing to strongly spreading the cultural values, identity and intelligence of the Vietnamese people to the world .

In 2025, the Award enters its 11th season in the context of the country's extensive implementation of strategic tasks on comprehensive international integration.
This award directly concretizes Conclusion No. 57-KL/TU dated June 15, 2023 of the Politburo on improving the quality and effectiveness of foreign information work in the new situation. This is also an important activity to implement Resolution No. 59-NQ/TU dated January 24, 2025 of the Politburo on "International integration in the new situation".
According to comrade Pham Tat Thang, Resolution No. 59-NQ/TU identifies international integration as one of the four strategic breakthrough pillars, contributing to bringing Vietnam into a new era of development - an era of strong growth for the goal of "rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, and civilization".
Therefore, foreign information work and international communication activities need to innovate thinking and creative ways of doing things, so that Vietnam is not only known more widely, but also loved, trusted, and has more long-term and effective cooperation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh hoped that through each work, each creative product, the authors will bring Vietnam closer to the world. It could be a video clip, an article, an image..., but hidden behind it is love for the country, national pride.
