In the joyful and exciting atmosphere, the whole country is striving to compete and make practical achievements to welcome the country's major political events in 2025; making efforts to implement the revolution in streamlining and streamlining the organizational apparatus, today, I and the provincial leaders are very happy and excited to attend, congratulate and share joy with generations of journalists on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. This is an important event, a milestone marking the maturity and development of Vietnam's revolutionary press in general and the provincial press agencies in particular over the past century.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of the province and with my personal feelings, I would like to send my sincere greetings, deep gratitude and best wishes to generations of journalists, cadres, reporters, editors, technicians and press collaborators of the province through the periods; reporters and journalists of the Central press agencies located in the province; journalists who are children of Bac Giang working in all parts of the country.

Throughout the 100-year journey of construction and development, the Vietnamese revolutionary press founded and trained by President Ho Chi Minh has always accompanied the Party, the State, the armed forces and the Vietnamese people to overcome all hardships and sacrifices for national independence and socialism. The Vietnamese revolutionary press has become a pioneering force on the ideological and cultural front of the Party, a bridge between the Party, the State and the People, making an important contribution to the great revolutionary cause of the nation. In the process of renovation, the Vietnamese revolutionary press continues to make extremely important contributions, helping the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army to build our country to have the foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it has today.
Along with the development and growth of the national press, the press of Ha Bac and Bac Giang over the years has always received attention, consolidation, investment and development in terms of organizational structure, equipment and technical facilities. The team of journalists is growing stronger and stronger, always closely following reality, honestly reflecting the breath of life in each work. Through the reportage films and the commemorative speech presented by the Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, we are moved when reviewing the difficult and arduous journeys that generations of journalists in the province have gone through when the country was at war. At many times, the provincial press agencies had to evacuate; cadres and reporters not only participated in writing news articles but also participated in labor, production and supporting the fight to protect the northern rear. The heroic atmosphere of the whole nation was reflected in articles, memoirs and reports imbued with patriotism and full of revolutionary spirit. The news articles about the enthusiasm and bravery in labor, production and fighting of the people of Bac Giang and Ha Bac; the news of the fighting and victory on the fronts of our army and people reported by the press have fueled the emulation movement, encouraging and motivating everyone and every household to make efforts for the glorious revolutionary cause of the nation. Many emulation movements of our province have been spread by the press and have become the proud tradition of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Ha Bac and Bac Giang provinces.
During the period when the country was still facing many difficulties due to the war, being surrounded and embargoed by hostile forces, journalists traveled to all rural areas, to remote areas, promptly reflecting the thoughts, aspirations and opinions of the people, bringing the voice of the people to the Party committees and authorities at all levels; promptly propagating and spreading effective economic development models, encouraging the people to unite to overcome difficulties, gradually healing the wounds of war, contributing to building and firmly protecting the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
Entering the period of innovation, press agencies continue to affirm their core role, taking the lead in propagating and bringing the Party's resolutions, policies and laws of the State and localities into life. Comprehensively propagating the province's political tasks, focusing on building a strong Party and political system, developing the socio-economy, ensuring national defense and security; promptly encouraging patriotic emulation movements. Press works are increasingly diverse; quality is constantly improved; form is more attractive. The press is also a vanguard force in the struggle to protect the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, the State's policies and laws; Criticizing and refuting the wrong arguments of hostile forces, contributing significantly to orienting ideology and public opinion, consolidating and enhancing the trust of cadres, party members and people in the leadership of the Party, creating consensus in society, contributing to the successful implementation of local political tasks, and being recognized and highly appreciated by a large number of readers, cadres, party members and people.
Along with the press agencies, the Provincial Journalists Association has gathered a large number of members and in recent times has made many efforts to innovate the content and methods of operation to become more practical and effective; making important contributions to gathering, uniting, improving the political capacity, revolutionary ethics, and professional qualifications of members and journalists; performing well the role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members, encouraging reporters and journalists to perform well their assigned tasks. Especially in the difficult, complicated times when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out and our Bac Giang became the epicenter of the whole country; when super typhoon No. 3 (Yagi) made landfall along with heavy rains and floods causing flooding for many days in the province, many reporters of central and local press agencies did not fear the danger, being present in the most difficult and complicated places of natural disasters and epidemics; promptly worked to create hundreds of articles and truthful reports to encourage and motivate the strength of the great national unity bloc; spread the image of the selfless work of the shock forces on the front line, causing strong emotions in domestic and international public opinion. The image of Bac Giang press reporters in particular, and press colleagues across the country in general, present in the most difficult times, left good feelings in the hearts of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Bac Giang province.
These results not only brought generations of journalists in the province noble awards and prizes, but more importantly, they built the image of a team of journalists in Bac Giang with extensive and rich knowledge, communication skills, and journalistic talent; with passion, enthusiasm, sensitivity, courage, dedication, exploration, and discovery in journalistic activities. More importantly, the efforts of press agencies and the team of journalists have contributed to creating a strongly developing Bac Giang. The economic growth rate for many years has been a bright spot in the country, reaching 13.85% in 2024 alone, the highest in the country; the economic scale of the province rose to 12th in the country and ranked first in the provinces of the Northern Midlands and Mountains. The investment and business environment continues to improve; many development indicators are in the leading group in the country. The fields of culture - society, education and training, health care for the people, and social security have achieved many very important results. The work of building the Party and the political system has been strengthened; national defense and security have been ensured; the people's lives have been constantly improved and raised. This is truly the destination, the happiness, the most precious reward for the team of journalists.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, I acknowledge, commend, and warmly congratulate the achievements that generations of leaders, reporters, editors, and technicians of the provincial press agencies have achieved throughout the formation and development of Vietnam's revolutionary press. At the same time, I would like to congratulate the collectives, individuals, authors, and groups of authors who were honored, rewarded, and honored at today's Celebration.
Dear all comrades!
The entire Party, people and army are comprehensively promoting the cause of innovation, integration and national development. The immediate task is that we must concentrate very highly to successfully complete the targets and tasks of the 2020-2025 term; successfully organize the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; implement the revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus, and rearranging administrative units at the provincial and communal levels before July 1, 2025. These are major tasks of great significance to the whole country and the whole province; many difficulties and challenges arise, requiring the solidarity and determination of the entire political system, including press agencies and journalists.
Promoting the glorious tradition and 100 years of experience of the Vietnamese revolutionary press, press agencies and the Provincial Journalists Association need to continue to promote their strengths, seriously acknowledge and overcome their limitations, constantly innovate and strive. With that spirit, I request that the press agencies, the Provincial Journalists Association and the team of journalists focus on performing well the following tasks:
Firstly, focus on coordinating, advising, proposing and organizing the implementation of the merger of press agencies and Journalists Associations of the two provinces of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh in accordance with the direction of the Central and the Provincial Party Committee; the arrangement and merger must ensure "streamlining - compactness - strength - efficiency - effectiveness - efficiency". The implementation process needs to be well prepared in all aspects, proactively overcome and resolve arising problems; do not abandon the information and propaganda battlefield because of the merger and arrangement. After the arrangement, the press agencies and the Provincial Journalists Association must operate stably, smoothly, with higher quality and efficiency than before.
Second, with the responsibility to the Party Committee, the government, and the people of all ethnic groups in the province, the provincial press agencies must continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's directives and resolutions on ideological, theoretical, and press work; 100% of Party members, reporters, and journalists must seriously study the Party's directives and resolutions, regularly receive political theory training, and update new knowledge. Press agencies must operate in accordance with their principles, purposes, and orientations to truly be the voice of the Party Committee, the government, and the people; under the direct leadership of the Party Committee, the management of the government, and operate in accordance with the law. Thereby, contributing to building a professional, humane, and modern press and media as veteran journalist Hoang Dinh Tien has just shared about his life as a journalist.
Third, continue to innovate and improve the quality of content and form so that press publications, radio and television programs vividly and comprehensively reflect life; information must be quick, accurate, objective, diverse and rich, ensuring political, authentic and attractive qualities. Focus on widely and promptly disseminating the policies and guidelines of the Party, the State and the province. The immediate key task is to promote propaganda to summarize, deeply and comprehensively evaluate the implementation of the set goals and tasks for the 2020-2025 term; prepare and organize party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Further strengthen news articles to propagate the tasks of arranging and streamlining the apparatus, arranging administrative units at the provincial and communal levels as directed by the Prime Minister at the training conference on June 14 and 15, 2025. It is necessary to propagate systematically, in a series of articles, boldly, deeply, continuously before, during and after the apparatus is reorganized, especially when the new apparatus comes into operation. Along with that, it is necessary to focus on propagating the concretization of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59 on proactive international integration in the new situation; Resolution No. 66 on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era; Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo on private economic development...
Actively propagate the fight against corruption, waste, negativity, and violations of the law; proactively and promptly refute the wrong views of hostile forces, and protect the Party's ideological foundation. Timely encourage and motivate patriotic emulation movements, advanced models, good people, and good deeds to strengthen people's trust in the Party's leadership, create consensus in society to successfully complete local political tasks.
Fourth, press agencies must focus on modernizing press equipment. After the merger, it is necessary to soon research and build a model of a converged, multi-platform integrated newsroom; strongly apply digital technology, artificial intelligence, and big data analysis to increase interaction, improve content quality and dissemination efficiency. Press agencies need to strongly develop media products, take advantage of social networks and digital platforms to convey authentic, timely, and attractive information to all classes of people. Pay attention to training and fostering a team of journalists and publicists with solid political qualities, good expertise, and clear professional ethics, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period. Strengthen external information; proactively cooperate with central press agencies, provinces and cities in the country and abroad to promote the achievements and beauty of the land and people of Bac Giang today and Bac Ninh in the future to domestic and international friends.
Fifth, the Provincial Journalists Association will better perform the task of uniting and gathering members, promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, and Uncle Ho's journalism style; associated with implementing regulations on ethics for Vietnamese journalists to build a team of journalists with strong political will, clear professional ethics, high professional qualifications, dynamism and creativity. Coordinate well with functional departments, branches and press agencies in performing tasks, thereby constantly improving the role, position, quality and effectiveness of the Association's activities.

President Ho Chi Minh - The founder and trainer of the Vietnamese revolutionary press, was also a great journalist, using the press as a sharp weapon in the cause of national liberation. He affirmed that "Press cadres are also revolutionary soldiers. Pens and paper are their sharp weapons". His teachings will forever be the torch that lights the way for generations of journalists to maintain their faith, ideals, and dedication. I believe that, with the fine tradition and rich experience gained through practical activities, the team of journalists in our province will always maintain "a bright mind, a pure heart, and a sharp pen" and successfully complete the noble historical mission of journalists.
On this occasion, on behalf of the provincial leaders, I would like to express my sincere and deep gratitude to the central and national press agencies. I hope that the Party Committee, government, and press force of Bac Giang at present and Bac Ninh press in the coming time will continue to receive more attention and support from you to firmly integrate and develop.
I also request that Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, branches, organizations and people in the province continue to coordinate, support and create favorable conditions for press agencies and journalists to operate; at the same time, pay attention to solving issues raised by the press, contributing to the development of the provincial Party Committee.
Journalism is a lifelong profession, I hope that veteran journalists and previous generations of journalists will continue to care, guide, foster, impart experiences, and give encouragement so that the province's journalism team can develop more and more strongly and excellently fulfill their assigned tasks.
