Promoting the role of youth union members in startups

Overview of the workshop.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Comrade Le Van Chau, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union emphasized: In the cause of socio-economic development of the country in the new era, entrepreneurship is an important content, which needs to be carried out in parallel with other political tasks. Especially for the youth, entrepreneurship is the most effective way to contribute, train and build the country, helping young people live beautifully and live usefully for society.

In recent times, Thanh Hoa province has issued many policies to promote start-up activities for young people. In the period of 2021 - 2024, the whole province has 2 organizations to support and promote start-ups for young people, with 8,126 economic models led by young people, of which the youth union at all levels has supported the construction of 2,443 individual business households, 2 cooperatives, 4 cooperatives, and 698 enterprises.

Comrade Le Van Chau, Provincial Party Committee member, Provincial Youth Union Secretary delivered the opening speech at the workshop.

The effective implementation of policies and laws on youth entrepreneurship in the province has become an important lever, arousing youthful energy, intelligence and the spirit of innovation and creativity in young people. This not only contributes to socio-economic development but also creates a foundation for a generation of young entrepreneurs with the ability to compete and develop sustainably; strongly arouses the spirit of innovation and creativity, the will to establish a career of the young generation, especially union members and young people in disadvantaged areas, who have boldly realized startup ideas, from green farm models, high-tech agricultural production, to community tourism and service development, not only helping young people improve their lives but also creating jobs for the community.

The workshop was organized to contribute to realizing the aspiration to develop Thanh Hoa in the spirit of Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Thanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045. At the same time, it contributed to raising awareness of agencies, units, organizations and individuals about their position, role and responsibility in accompanying and supporting young people to start a business, and at the same time, proposing solutions and recommendations to further promote the role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in starting a business in the province to adapt to the new era - the era of national development.

At the workshop, the presentations focused on a number of main contents: Current situation and solutions to improve the leadership and management capacity of the Party Committee and the government of Ba Dinh Ward, Thanh Hoa City in promoting the role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in startups; the role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in startups in Thanh Hoa province today; the agricultural tourism model towards agricultural product trade for farmers, practices and experiences...

At the workshop, delegates also exchanged, discussed, shared good experiences, creative ways of doing things and boldly pointed out the shortcomings, limitations and difficulties in promoting the role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in starting a business in the province in recent times.
