In recent days, towards the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), television stations across the country have broadcast many revolutionary films, in which the audience was moved and moved to meet the late Meritorious Artist - musician Bac Son.

VTV, HTV, Binh Duong , Hai Phong, Son La, Lam Dong... stations have been broadcasting films about revolutionary themes, including the gentle, kind face and white hair and beard of the late Meritorious Artist Bac Son.

Singer Bich Thuy, daughter of the late Meritorious Artist - musician Bac Son, said: "VTV broadcast the film "The Last Battle" of Liberation Film Studio, my whole family watched and was moved because they missed my father so much.

He was rarely at home because he was always traveling with film crews. In the last years of his life, every time the April 30 holiday came around, he would talk about the roles that were filmed to celebrate the great day of the country.

I always see my father present in my life, in his work, in his will to bring music to schools, and to do good charity work that he instructed me to do.

The family of the late Meritorious Artist - musician Bac Son still keeps their promise, every year organizing scholarships for poor but studious children of artists.

The scholarship fund of the late Meritorious Artist - Musician Bac Son has been organized for 12 years, awarded to more than 700 poor students, children of stage, film, music, dance, circus artists... across the country.

And now, singer Bich Thuy has successfully organized the "Bac Son Love Songs" art troupe, continuing to promote the songs and musicals composed by her father, which have been warmly received by the audience. The family has also successfully organized two seasons of a contest to select singers specializing in singing Bac Son's songs.

Especially the revolutionary film roles, the tradition of fighting against invaders".

Meritorious Artist Bac Son, whose real name is Truong Van Khue (1931–2005), is such a person. He did not come to art as a rebellious adventure, but entered it as someone returning to his homeland – close, sincere and imbued with national identity.

Outstanding roles such as: Nam Nguu in "The Gold Seeker", Hai Bac Lieu in "The Whirlwind", or Ong Tu in "The Poor Dog" all brought deep emotions, touching the depths of the viewer's soul.

In particular, the role of Nam Nguu brought him the Best Actor award at the 9th National Film Festival - a worthy recognition for his subtle transformation ability, and a testament to the power of genuine, unadorned acting.
