
In the context that the whole country is actively implementing Resolution No. 57/NQ-CP dated April 21, 2023 of the Government on developing high-quality human resources by 2030, with a vision to 2045, which emphasizes the need to promote high-tech human resource training, strengthen the connection between schools - enterprises - management agencies, and at the same time affirm the important role of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in all fields.

In his opening speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Quoc Cuong, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park (SHTP), emphasized that Drone/UAV is one of the technologies with great potential in the fields of civil, defense, education and manufacturing. Integrating a smart education system using AI and LMS through HDFPV's Drone platform is a strategic direction, opening up an educational model that connects with practice, promoting digital capacity for future generations of students.
Globally, the Drone/UAV industry is growing strongly and is the focus of investment in many countries, Vietnam is no exception. We must set a higher goal, not only to keep up, but also to create our own identity, master the technology, and lead the market in advantageous segments.

At the workshop, representatives of universities, military experts, technology enterprises and general education institutions discussed the current status and potential for developing UAV/Drone training models in Vietnam. In particular, focusing on the orientation of building educational programs associated with practical applications of UAV/Drone, from high school to university level, as well as the role of schools and enterprises in developing a team of highly skilled human resources.
This is an important step to develop high-quality Drone/UAV human resources, aiming to form an effective education - technology - innovation ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region.
