(CLO) On November 29, the Quang Ngai Provincial Journalists Association coordinated with the Professional Department - Vietnam Journalists Association to organize a workshop on 'Trends in organizing content on social networks of press agencies'.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial Journalists Association Tran Cao Tanh emphasized that this workshop is an opportunity for journalist associations and press agencies in the South - Central region to meet, exchange experiences and learn from each other. The organizing committee hopes to receive active participation and enthusiastic contributions from delegates to build an increasingly professional and modern press and media industry. The conference heard many opinions and assessments from delegates on the importance of social networks in transmitting information, interacting with readers and building brands for press agencies. Delegates analyzed the opportunities and challenges when organizing content on social networks, from competing with other platforms to dealing with fake information, fighting against hostile and erroneous views, and protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
The workshop also received many creative ideas and practical solutions to improve content quality, increase interaction with readers on social networks and how to maintain the position as the mainstream information stream in cyberspace. At the same time, it proposed a number of solutions to improve the quality of human resources, access to technology to carry out digital transformation of journalism, organize content on social networks; solutions to ensure information safety and security in the context of current digital transformation.
According to Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ngai Newspaper Nguyen Phu Duc, to have a press product that attracts the public in the current period, people are still the most important factor, deciding the success in the digital transformation process of the press. That is, to successfully transform digitally, we must renew the thinking of journalism in the digital technology era.
Along with digital transformation, Quang Ngai Newspaper has gradually overcome traditional journalism methods, focusing on forming and strongly developing solution journalism and creative journalism. Distributing many journalism products on digital platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, Tiktok, Zalo.

Quang Ngai Newspaper has established a Digital Content Department to serve the digital transformation and information exploitation work, creating rich press content posted on social networking platforms.
Deputy Director of Quang Ngai Radio and Television Station Nguyen Anh Tuan said that to improve the quality of human resources and accelerate digital transformation of journalism, the provincial Radio and Television Station is applying 3 solutions. These are changing thinking first, changing technology and arranging human resources.
In which, we must take social trends as the path, and the needs of the audience and listeners as the destination. Changing the form of expression, storytelling skills, and content must aim towards constructive journalism and solution journalism to effectively propagate policies and communicate policies.
Sharing his unit's experience, journalist Pham Cuong - Head of VNA's Quang Ngai office said that VNA has been persistently digitizing information and documents for many years and gradually forming a digital database. This is the foundation for VNA to test and develop artificial intelligence products to help exploit the added value of data journalism.

The ultimate goal is to create attractive, valuable content that meets the needs of readers and builds a vibrant, engaged online community.
To organize content well on social networks, press agencies must master some basic principles. These are understanding the audience, diversifying content, interacting with readers, ensuring accuracy, objectivity, regular updates, especially creativity and originality, and at the same time measuring effectiveness to promptly adjust content.
Need to pay more attention to cybersecurity, media security and copyright protection in digital content. Know how to use keywords, interact with the community; build a clear and specific strategy for developing content on social networks. Invest in training to improve the capacity of the working team. Strengthen cooperation with social networking platforms to maximize the features.
