Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed the Prime Minister's decision approving the investment policy of the urban complex project, eco-tourism, and golf course in Khoai Chau, Hung Yen, at the request of the Ministry of Finance and the People's Committee of Hung Yen province.

This is an investment project for an urban complex, resort, eco -tourism , sports and high-class golf course according to international standards, deployed on a planned area of ​​990.43 hectares. The project's goal is to contribute to maximizing the potential and advantages of the area; gradually exploiting effectively the Red River tourism route connecting Hung Yen with Hanoi and the northern provinces.

According to the decision, the project has a total investment of 39,787 billion VND, equivalent to 1.533 billion USD, including 4 sub-areas. The ecological residential area associated with a high-class golf course has a population of 3,500 people. The ecological residential area associated with an ecological golf course has a population of 1,800 people. The commercial and service urban area has a population of 29,700 people. And finally, the green area and thematic park.

The golf course is designed with 54 holes, including 36-hole and 18-hole courses.

In addition, the project also has 7.28 hectares for developing social housing.

Of the total investment capital, VND4,087 billion will be used for compensation and resettlement support. The remaining cost for project development is VND35,700 billion. The project will be implemented from the second quarter of 2025 to the second quarter of 2029. The project's operating period is 50 years.

Previously, the Ministry of Finance reported to the Prime Minister on the approval of the investment policy for this project, proposed by Hung Yen Investment and Development Group Corporation.

In September 2024, representatives of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee and US partners, including The Trump Organization, signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in implementing the project.
