The 51km-long Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway, connecting Than Cuu Nghia intersection (adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway) to An Thai Trung intersection, plays an important role in reducing the load on National Highway 1 and shortening travel time between Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta provinces.
The 51km Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway will have new price adjustments from 0:00 on January 1, 2025.
The route will officially operate from April 30, 2022, free for the first 100 days, currently has four toll stations including Km51+940, Cai Lay, Cai Be and Km98+320, applying automatic non-stop toll collection.
According to the BOT contract and Decision 2463/QD-UBND in 2020, price adjustments are made periodically every three years to ensure the payback period does not exceed 15 years. The new price will be applied from November 1, 2025 (excluding VAT), specifically as follows:
Group 1, vehicles with less than 12 seats, trucks under 2 tons and public passenger buses, collect 2,091 VND/km.
Group 2: Vehicles from 12 to 30 seats, trucks from 2 to under 4 tons, collect 3,136 VND/km.
Group 3: Vehicles with 31 seats or more and trucks from 4 to under 10 tons, collect 3,436 VND/km.
Group 4: Trucks from 10 to under 18 tons and container trucks under 40 feet, collect 4,418 VND/km.
Group 5: Trucks from 18 tons or more and container trucks from 40 feet or more, collect 6,382 VND/km.
According to the operating management unit, on average there are about 31,000 vehicles traveling on this highway every day.
