"Victory Vietnam" captures the vibrant atmosphere in the Swedish capital Stockholm on the day Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City) was liberated - a historic moment marking the end of the war in Vietnam.
Through the images of Swedish people taking to the streets to celebrate the victory, singing songs of peace and expressing deep solidarity with the Vietnamese people, the film clearly depicts the deep affection of the Swedish people for Vietnam. In addition, the film also records many valuable documents reflecting the political and material support of the international solidarity movement for Vietnam during the period of struggle for independence and national reunification.

The Ambassador emphasized that these are important foundations for the period of strong development of the Vietnamese people in the 21st century - the Era of National Growth. The program also included an exchange and sharing of thoughts by Swedish experts and friends who shared and evaluated the support of the Swedish Government and people for Vietnam during the war as well as the post-war reconstruction period.
