At Trung Phuoc 2 village, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh inspected two seriously affected families located near the Thu Bon River, including Mr. Tang Van Cu's family and Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen's family.

At the Phuoc Vien village cultural house, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee presented many gifts to support households affected by floods in the commune.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee deeply sympathized with the losses and damages of the people; at the same time, affirmed that the city government always pays attention and makes efforts to concentrate resources to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee requested local authorities to continue to pay attention, not to let people lack food and clothing; focus on environmental sanitation, disease prevention, and ensure stable people's lives after the flood.
Along with that, proactive measures to respond to storm No. 13, especially storm circulation that can cause heavy rain.

* On the same day, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh and a working delegation inspected the work of overcoming the consequences of floods and gave gifts to people affected by floods in Que Son Trung commune.

The recent flood caused significant damage in Que Son Trung commune, inundating and isolating 89 households with 281 people in 5 residential areas.
Many areas of trees and crops were knocked down, livestock drowned, rice seeds were flooded; fields were heavily eroded and silted.
Regarding irrigation infrastructure, 150m of canals were completely damaged, 200m were eroded; most of the intra-field canals in the area were seriously silted up.
Many traffic routes were eroded and damaged, hindering travel, including: routes DH01.QS, DH16.QS, DH06.QS (1.5km of asphalt road surface damaged); route DH01.QS to Suoi Tien Eco- tourism Area had 400m of road surface damaged.
Rural traffic routes were also eroded, about 3,500m of concrete road collapsed; many bridges and culverts were eroded, and embankments collapsed.
The working headquarters of commune agencies and some village activity houses were affected by heavy rains due to deterioration; some equipment and machinery were damaged and are being urgently repaired.
Currently, the commune's working groups are continuing to inspect and count the damage to houses, medical and educational facilities, technical infrastructure and agricultural production.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and other organizations are mobilizing forces to support people in overcoming consequences and soon stabilizing life in flooded areas.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee commended the efforts of the Party Committee and the communal government in leadership, direction and management; and at the same time acknowledged the active participation of functional forces in implementing measures to respond to floods, ensuring no human casualties and minimizing damage to people's property.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee requested that localities focus on reviewing and fully counting damages in all fields to promptly report to the city.
On that basis, the city continues to have appropriate support plans; at the same time, together with localities, deploy solutions to invest in traffic infrastructure and irrigation works in a sustainable and long-term direction; to minimize the risk of natural disasters in the future.
In addition, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee requested the locality to coordinate with agencies and functional units to urgently allocate the city's support resources and other social resources to the right beneficiaries, ensuring fairness and transparency; absolutely not leaving out any beneficiaries, not letting people go hungry or lack food after the flood.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee also noted that currently, storm No. 13 is evolving complicatedly, and its circulation may cause heavy rain in the coming days.
Therefore, functional forces need to proactively activate storm and flood prevention plans; fully prepare materials, means and human resources to respond promptly, ensure people's safety and soon stabilize their lives after storms and floods.
On the same day, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee visited and presented gifts to a number of households that suffered heavy losses due to the recent floods in Que Son Trung commune.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee kindly visited, encouraged, and shared the difficulties and losses of the people and hoped that households would soon overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and restore production.
At the same time, the city leaders are directing the concentration of resources to urgently overcome the consequences of natural disasters; synchronously deploying solutions to improve the ability to sustainably respond to climate change and natural disasters in the coming time.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee also requested local authorities to continue to pay attention to and provide timely support to affected households; at the same time, proactively coordinate with functional forces in natural disaster prevention and control with the highest motto of absolutely ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
