Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Lam Minh Dang visited and worked with Rang Dong Seafood Cooperative

On November 6, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Lam Minh Dang and the working delegation visited and worked with Rang Dong Aquatic Products Cooperative and visited the Thoi Thuan Commune Public Administration Service Center.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Lam Minh Dang visited and met with cadres, civil servants and public employees at the Thoi Thuan Commune Public Administration Service Center.

Reporting to the working delegation, Mr. Pham Van Thuan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rang Dong Aquatic Cooperative said that the Cooperative currently has 3,550 member households, with 9,602 people. The registered business is marine aquaculture, mainly managing and exploiting resources from natural clams, with over 1,588 hectares. The Cooperative's operating model is community-based, distributed into 5 hamlets in Thoi Thuan commune.

Currently, the cooperative has a charter capital of 495 million VND (each member contributes 50,000 VND). The cooperative's Party cell has 20 party members. During the 2025-2027 term, the Congress elected a Party cell with 5 members.

Representative of Rang Dong Seafood Cooperative reported on the results of operations in the first 10 months of 2025.

In the first 10 months of 2025, the output of all kinds of clams exploited was more than 1,508 tons, reaching 96.05% of the set target. Revenue was more than 54.5 billion VND, reaching 151.62% of the yearly plan. The cooperative has allocated more than 23.3 billion VND to the member distribution fund, with an average of 2.5 million VND per person, creating regular jobs for 300 workers.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Lam Minh Dang highly appreciated the achievements of Rang Dong Seafood Cooperative in recent times, especially the organizational structure showing professionalism, creating income and jobs for local people.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Cooperative to strengthen its links with communes in the province to supply clam seeds and output products; and to share experiences in management and operation so that the Cooperatives can develop together stably.

Visiting the Thoi Thuan Commune Public Administration Service Center, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Lam Minh Dang requested attention to solving outstanding problems and fixing errors caused by network incidents during the implementation of administrative procedures on the Public Service Portal.
