Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned and appointed Ms. Le Thuy My Chau, Vice Chairman of the Hoc Mon District People's Committee, to take on the role of Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training.

Ms. Le Thuy My Chau, born in 1980, has been working inthe education sector since 2001, as a teacher at Nguyen An Khuong Secondary School (Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City). Then from August 2007 to June 2010, Ms. My Chau held the position of Vice Principal of Nguyen An Khuong Secondary School.

From July 2010 to August 2011, Ms. Chau was Deputy Chief of Office of Hoc Mon District People's Committee. From September 2011 to December 2013, she was District Party Committee Member and Chief of Office of Hoc Mon District People's Committee.

From January 2014 to March 2017, Ms. My Chau was a member of the District Party Committee and Secretary of the Tan Xuan Commune Party Committee.

From April 2017 to June 2021, Ms. My Chau held the position of Chief of Office of the People's Council - People's Committee of Hoc Mon district.

And from July 2021 to present, Ms. Le Thuy My Chau is a member of the District Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoc Mon district.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Anh Duc, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, congratulated Ms. Le Thuy My Chau on her new assignment. At the same time, the city's leaders hoped that Ms. My Chau would unite with the city's education and training sector, and have many innovations and creativity in training and education. Thereby contributing to meeting the needs and development of the city.

Thus, from May onwards, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City will have 4 deputy directors including:

Mr. Le Hoai Nam is responsible for assisting the Director of the Department in directing the implementation of the following areas: financial planning; basic construction, planning of school networks and equipment for teaching, learning and educational activities; testing and assessment of educational quality...

Mr. Duong Tri Dung is responsible for assisting the Director of the Department in directing the implementation of the following areas: political and ideological education and anti-corruption, thrift practice; school safety, traffic safety; prevention of natural disasters, storms, floods, fires, rescue; prevention of AIDS, drugs, social evils in schools; inspection work, etc.

Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc is responsible for assisting the Director of the Department in directing the implementation of the following areas: teacher training and development; primary and secondary education, educational institutions with foreign elements, study abroad centers; in charge of projects and programs...

And Ms. Le Thuy My Chau will be assigned tasks and areas of responsibility by the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City early next week.
