Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee appointed Secretary of Phu Quoc City Party Committee

On the afternoon of April 16, the Standing Committee of Phu Quoc City Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee on personnel work.

At the conference, Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee announced the decision of Mr. Tong Phuoc Truong to cease participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and cease holding the position of Secretary of Phu Quoc City Party Committee; and to transfer and appoint him as Head of the Propaganda Department of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

At the same time, the decision to transfer, rotate and appoint Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Quoc Anh to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of Phu Quoc City Party Committee, term 2020-2025 was announced.

Mr. Le Quoc Anh (52 years old), hometown Kien An commune, Cho Moi district, An Giang province. Professional qualifications: Master of planning, senior political theory.

Mr. Le Quoc Anh used to hold the positions of Deputy Head of Phu Quoc Island Development Investment Management Board, Director of Kien Giang Province Department of Construction, Secretary and Chairman of Ha Tien City People's Committee.

Also at this ceremony, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province mobilized and appointed Mr. Dinh Phu Nam, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Quoc City to hold the position of Deputy Director of Phu Quoc National Park.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Kien Giang Provincial Party Secretary Do Thanh Binh congratulated the officials on their new assignments.

The Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee also hopes that in their new positions, comrades will continue to strive, train, overcome difficulties, further promote their intelligence, experience, and strengths to successfully complete assigned tasks.
