(CTTĐTBP) - After more than 1 year of implementation efforts, this morning (December 14), phase 1 of the automobile tire factory of HAOHUA Company Limited (Vietnam) was inaugurated and put into operation.
Attending and congratulating this event of HAOHUA Group (China) were Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; former President Nguyen Minh Triet; leaders of central ministries and branches; Chinese Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and leaders of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces.

The automobile tire factory project of HAOHUA Company Limited (Vietnam) was granted an investment certificate by the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province in September 2023 with a total investment of 500 million USD. The factory is built on an area of 43 hectares in Minh Hung - Sikico Industrial Park, with a production capacity of 14.4 million tires per year.

Mr. Wei Huaxiang , Consulate General of China in Ho Chi Minh City, spoke about the close friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and China.
Along with the completion of phase 1, in November 2024, HAOHUA Group continued to invest an additional 280 million USD to expand the factory by 31 hectares of land. This expansion project is expected to reach a capacity of 10 million tires per year, equivalent to a revenue of 322 million USD. When both phases are completed, the total capacity of the project will reach 24.4 million tires per year, bringing in a minimum revenue of 1.092 billion USD. Thus, HAOHUA Vietnam has increased its total investment capital to 780 million USD, becoming the largest tire manufacturing enterprise in Vietnam. The project will contribute to increasing the industrial proportion of Binh Phuoc province, promoting the development of other supporting industries.

Departments, branches, sectors and local authorities have always created favorable conditions right from the first days when HAOHUA Group surveyed and selected a location to build the factory. During the project implementation process, provincial leaders and departments, branches and sectors have promptly supported, guided and encouraged the enterprise to overcome difficulties, complete tasks in accordance with regulations and on schedule.

On behalf of the Government, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha expressed his joy at the inauguration ceremony of the first phase of the HAOHUA tire factory in Binh Phuoc province. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, with the planning of a new growth pole in the Southeast region, with a strategic geographical location, convenient traffic connections and playing an important role; being the gateway connecting, exchanging economy, culture, society of the region with the Central Highlands and Cambodia - Laos - Thailand, Binh Phuoc is attracting the attention of investors. Dynamic projects such as Minh Hung - Sikico Industrial Park are gradually turning Binh Phuoc into a modern industrial province.
