Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh attends investment conference in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province

On the morning of May 30, at The Grand Ho Tram, Xuyen Moc district, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and leaders of central ministries, branches, provinces and cities in the region; diplomatic agencies, organizations, associations; businesses and investors attended the Ba Ria-Vung Tau investment conference in 2025.

Attending the conference on behalf of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province were Mr. Pham Viet Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The conference aims to introduce the potential, strengths, and list of typical key projects calling for investment in 2025. In particular, at the event, the Provincial People's Committee announced 24 important projects calling for investment in the coming time, in 4 economic pillars: industry, seaports and logistics services, tourism and urban areas, services; including some outstanding projects such as: Bac Chau Duc Industrial Park, Long Son LNG Thermal Power Plant, Vung Tau International Passenger Port...

Leaders of ministries, branches and localities attended the conference.

The Provincial People's Committee also granted investment policy decisions and increased capital to 53 enterprises with a total capital of more than 1 billion USD and 71 trillion VND; signed strategic cooperation agreements with investors in the fields of digital transformation, urban areas, tourism, tourism brand development, etc.
