Accordingly, while many organizations, individuals, and celebrities unanimously supported and sent large and small amounts of money to people in the northern provinces affected by storms and floods, some "pretended", even created fake statements, not matching the transferred amount to show off on their personal pages, Fanpages, and TikTok for the purpose of creating images, attracting likes, and gaining popularity.

Cases of "tarpaulin" like this need to be handled seriously.

In today's era, many people take advantage of charity activities to build their personal image, make profits and increase their popularity. Instead of really helping those in need, they just want to attract the attention of the media and the public, flaunt their reputation and beautify their image. This not only loses the trust of the community but also affects the reputation of genuine charity organizations. Charity is inherently an act of compassion and kindness. However, when this act is turned into a tool for personal gain, it will hurt the disadvantaged and reduce moral values ​​in society. I think that the act of "bannering" should be strongly condemned and strictly handled.

In many cases, when the incident is exposed, these individuals only need to apologize perfunctorily, or sometimes use the excuse of "lack of understanding" to ask for forgiveness. However, this needs to change, we cannot let acts of taking advantage of the kindness of the community end with a mere apology. There needs to be stronger sanctions, such as requiring the return of donations for the wrong purpose, or even criminal prosecution for cases of profiteering from charity, taking advantage of charity to "show off".

Charity, if not from a sincere heart, will become an empty show, eroding trust and creating a fake society. The dishonesty in charity not only affects specific individuals, but also causes the whole community to lose faith in human values. Accordingly, organizations and individuals who are truly dedicated to charity work are also affected, facing suspicion and difficulty in continuing to call for contributions from the community.

We need to preserve the purity and noble meaning of volunteering, aiming for a society where compassion is expressed sincerely and practically. A society can only develop sustainably when ethical values ​​are respected and protected.
