In Hoa Hai ward (Ngu Hanh Son district), there are many hotels, motels, gas and internet businesses, boarding houses, schools, etc. The whole ward has 91 fire hydrants, many of which are currently not working due to damage or lack of water locks. Recently, the ward People's Committee has coordinated with units to conduct mobile propaganda on roads, residential areas, and crowded places; posted 600 leaflets with QR codes on fire prevention, fighting, and rescue (PCCC and CNCH) at cultural houses, offices, and households in the ward; replicated the model of "Inter-family Fire Safety Group", "Public Fire Fighting Point" posted on zalo and facebook groups; inspected fire safety for businesses, family homes, and houses combined with production and business; organized 10 propaganda sessions and practiced fire prevention and fighting and CNCH plans with 6,637 households and businesses participating; Consolidate and maintain the operation of 39 fire safety residential clusters. Up to now, the ward has built 10 models of "Fire Safety Inter-family Groups", 18 models of "Public Fire Fighting Points"; reviewed and newly built 10 models of "Initial Public Fire Fighting Points".

Hai Chau District People's Committee has just directed units and People's Committees of wards to strengthen propaganda, inspection and strict implementation of measures to ensure safety in the process of using electricity, measures to prevent fire and explosion, especially fire prevention and fighting in vacant lots. Accordingly, promote propaganda and mobilize organizations, enterprises and individuals to regularly clear land under their management, limit conditions for fire and create beauty and environmental sanitation; develop models of "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Group" and "Public Fire Fighting Point" in residential areas. When fires, explosions, accidents and incidents occur, focus on mobilizing local forces to organize timely fire fighting and rescue and direct the overcoming of consequences caused by fires and explosions.

Thereby, it promptly detected and fixed many high-risk points for fire and explosion such as: old electrical wires, overloaded sockets, substandard electrical equipment...

At the same time, strengthen propaganda work, remind businesses to strictly comply with fire prevention and fighting regulations, proactively equip fire extinguishers on site; display of goods must meet fire prevention and fighting requirements, have plans to escape and clear goods when a fire occurs. In the coming time, the unit will organize fire prevention and fighting plan drills, train fire fighting skills for small traders. At the same time, strengthen patrols, promptly prevent initial fire and explosion incidents at markets managed by the unit.

The City Police have just organized an intensive training course on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue for 120 police officers and soldiers of wards and communes. The content includes guidance and updating of legal regulations, standards and technical regulations in the field of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue; safety inspection at facilities, residential areas, households, houses combined with production and business; propaganda work, building a mass movement for fire prevention and fighting; professional training; building and practicing fire fighting plans; solving difficulties and problems from practical work.

According to the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, City Police, in the past time, the unit has organized regular and surprise inspections at residential areas, boarding houses, apartment buildings, markets, production and business establishments. Through inspection, detection and request to repair electrical systems, escape routes, on-site fire fighting equipment... In parallel, propaganda activities and training on fire prevention and rescue skills have been deployed synchronously, in many forms. In the coming time, the unit will strengthen the inspection of fire prevention and rescue safety conditions, at the same time, strictly handle cases of intentional violations; improve the effectiveness of propaganda, disseminationand education of laws on fire prevention and rescue.
