Sharing with VietNamNet , Mr. TT, the parent of a 4-year-old girl studying in class C2 of Gia Thuy Kindergarten (Bo De Ward, Hanoi ) said that on July 5, when her child came home from school, the family discovered large bruises on her back. Upon questioning, the child said that she was beaten by her teacher in class.

Immediately after discovering the abnormality, the family reported it to the school and took the child to the National Children's Hospital for examination and health check-up.

Mr. T. said that on the school side, the Board of Directors and the class teacher came to his house to apologize. The teacher admitted that she had "hit the child once or twice because he was naughty and refused to go to bed."

“On the afternoon of July 8, my family went to the school to review all the surveillance cameras. According to the camera, my child was not only beaten but also thrown against the wall. Another child lying next to my child was also turned upside down by this teacher. Meanwhile, the other teacher just sat there watching, not taking any action to stop it,” said Mr. T.

The father said that this was not the first time his son had been beaten. However, this time, when the injuries were clearly visible on his body, the family discovered it in time and intervened. Mr. T's family immediately reported the incident to the authorities.

After the incident, Mr. T. said he temporarily let his child stay home from school because he was scared and did not dare to go to school.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nhung, Vice Principal of Gia Thuy Kindergarten, said that she was aware of the incident. Immediately after discovering it, the school reported it to management and the police.

"Currently, the police are working and the school is still waiting for results and instructions on how to proceed," said Ms. Nhung.
