Wife of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Wife of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping visit the Vietnam Women's Museum

The wife of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong (right) welcomed the wife of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to visit the Vietnam Women's Museum.

At the Vietnam Women's Museum, the two ladies visited the gallery and listened to an introduction to the documents and artifacts at the Museum, which honor the beauty of Vietnamese women, while reflecting the development and changes in the role, position and life of women in society over time.

Professor Peng Liyuan sincerely thanked the wife of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Mrs. Ngo Thi Man, for visiting the Museum, thereby helping her better understand the diligence and bravery of Vietnamese women.

Next, the two Ladies met and interacted with role models ineducation and girls in the goal of promoting education.

Listening to the sharing, Professor Peng Liyuan - Goodwill Ambassador of the World Health Organization for the prevention and control of tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, Special Ambassador of UNESCO for the education of women and girls expressed his impression of the examples of Vietnamese women and highly appreciated the role of education in changing the fate of many women and girls in difficult circumstances.

In a warm and intimate atmosphere, Mrs. Ngo Thi Man, wife of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and Mrs. Ngo Thi Man, wife of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, Professor Peng Liyuan enjoyed tea, watched the Ao Dai show and performed Vietnamese traditional musical instruments.

The visit of the Ladies left many deep impressions and was a valuable source of encouragement, strengthening friendship and connection and exchange between women and people of the two countries.
