For tourists looking for a high-end resort experience, Phu Quoc can satisfy even the most demanding, with a full range of services, from special cuisine to water sports activities or relaxation at top-notch spas.

Despite such great potential, Mr. Ky also believes that to turn them into real advantages, the island's government needs to take stronger measures to ensure sustainable and positive tourism development.

“Phu Quoc needs to take stronger measures to stabilize prices at accommodation facilities and dining venues in the area, and protect the natural environment. Investment in infrastructure, staff training, and smart tourism promotion are also indispensable factors to keep the destination attractive and maintain its luxury status,” said Mr. Ky.

Perhaps at present, Phu Quoc has not really exploited 100% of its inherent potential, due to the inconsistent thinking of service providers, unstable prices and many other objective factors. However, this is the island with the most potential among Vietnam's destinations, when even in difficult times during the economic crisis, the Pearl Island, with the investment of large economic groups, has continuously launched new, quality and different products.

For example, in just the last few days of 2023, a series of unique products and projects will be launched by Sun Group in the south of the island, from Cau Hon; luxury hotel La Festa Phu Quoc, Curio Collection by Hilton; Vui Phet Night Market (VUI-Fest Bazaar) - the first creative night market in Vietnam to Loang Xoang show - a street show combining circus and music from kitchen utensils, fishing nets of fishermen...

“We have invested thousands of billions, together with the government and islanders, to gradually turn this place into a unique world destination, vibrant 365 days a year, day and night,” said a representative of Sun Group.
