Binh Kien Ward converted 16 villages into residential areas and renamed 2 residential areas.

The People's Council of Binh Kien ward, term I, at its second session, has just approved the decision to convert 16 villages into residential areas.

Specifically,   Lien Tri 1, Lien Tri 2 villages , Phu Vang,   Thuong Phu,   Tho Vuc,   Ngoc Phong,   Xuan Hoa,   Minh Duc,   TuongQuang,   QuanQuang,   Cam Tu, Son Tho, Long Tu , Xuan Duc, Phu An,   Chinh Nghia was converted into neighborhoods with equivalent names.

From now on, Phu Vang village becomes Phu Vang urban area (Binh Kien ward).

Along with that, 2 neighborhoods, Lien Tri 1 neighborhood (old ward 9) changed to Lien Tri 3 neighborhood and Lien Tri 2 neighborhood (old ward 9) changed to Lien Tri 4, due to the same name as Lien Tri 1 and Lien Tri 2 villages of the old Binh Kien commune.

This change is based on Official Dispatch No. 4168/BNV-CQDP dated June 23, 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs on guiding a number of contents on the arrangement of organizational apparatus and administrative units; Resolution No. 1660/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Dak Lak province in 2025 and other relevant current legal documents.
