Phu Luong Ward: Nearly 200 athletes participate in the 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run

On the morning of October 5, nearly 200 athletes of many different backgrounds and ages enthusiastically participated in the Final Round of the 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run - For Peace in Phu Luong Ward 2025.

The event aims to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025) and welcome the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Luong Ward La Quang Thuc said that the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run is a traditional sport activity with profound meaning, one of the typical events contributing to building a civilized - modern - affectionate capital. In Phu Luong Ward, the run has become an annual movement that is maintained effectively every year.

The 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run - For Peace in Phu Luong Ward 2025 attracted the participation of nearly 200 outstanding athletes from agencies, units, schools and residential groups in the area. Thereby demonstrating the sportsmanship, will to practice, solidarity and love for peace of local cadres, party members and people.

With the spirit of "healthy to study, work, produce and protect the Fatherland", the race is not only an opportunity for athletes to compete to improve their health, but also an activity to connect the community, affirming the determination to build Phu Luong ward green - clean - beautiful - civilized - rich in identity, contributing to the sustainable development of Hanoi capital.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second, and third prizes to individuals. Accordingly, the first prizes for junior high school girls, high school girls, and female leaders of residential groups respectively belonged to the athletes: Nguyen Thi Quyen, Nguyen Thuy Linh, and Dao Thi Thu.

The first male prize in middle school, first male prize in high school, and first male prize in the residential group were awarded to the athletes: Dang Duc Hieu, Nguyen Long Nhat, and Tuong Phi Dien.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 6 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 12 consolation prizes to the athletes.
