Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat established a team to inspect boarding work at schools.

For one month, starting from September 22, an interdisciplinary inspection team established by the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong) will conduct inspections of boarding, food safety and hygiene, and non-budgetary revenue and expenditure at schools in the area.

Accordingly, the delegation will conduct inspections of schools under Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat in accordance with current regulations. The inspection delegation will carry out responsibilities and report to the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee on weekly periodic contents.

Currently, in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, there are 16 schools from kindergarten to high school; including 3 high schools and 1 inter-level middle school - high school.

Along with establishing an inspection team, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat also issued a document to strengthen management and rectify existing problems in boarding activities at educational institutions in the area.

The document requires educational institutions to direct and closely monitor food suppliers, ensuring full compliance with food safety regulations; and be legally responsible if an incident occurs that affects students' health. Use safe food sources certified by competent authorities. At the same time, strictly control the origin and source of food.

Along with that, educational institutions must seriously organize the entire process of processing, preserving, transporting and delivering food; fully implement the 3-step food inspection and store food samples according to regulations of the Ministry of Health .

Educational institutions must organize a Boarding Kitchen Supervisory Board, with the participation of representatives of homeroom teachers, school health workers and the Board of Parents. The Supervisory Board is responsible for regularly monitoring the activities of the kitchen, from receiving food, processing, preserving, to distributing meals to students. Carry out monitoring logs, make minutes when detecting errors; periodically report monitoring results to the Principal and the Ward People's Committee every month.

The Ward People's Committee also encourages parents to take turns participating in supervision to ensure objectivity and transparency, while creating consensus in the community.
