Mr. Ha Van Duoc, a resident of Don village (Thanh Lam commune, Ba Thuoc district) shared: “This year, the rice is growing very well, the weather is favorable so it will surely yield high yields. In about ten days, people will start harvesting. At that time, the rice will be golden and beautiful. Every season, tourists flock here.”

These days, Pu Luong is gradually donning a new coat - a mesmerizing blend of the green of the forest, the yellow of the rice fields and the white of the clouds.

“Tourists have started arriving since early May, but it is not until early June that the rice is ripe and the scenery is at its most beautiful. This year, the rice on terraced fields in villages such as Don, Bang, Kho Muong... in Thanh Lam and Thanh Son communes (Ba Thuoc district) are all growing well, and will certainly attract a lot of tourists,” said Mr. Bui Manh Van Cuong, Thanh Son commune (Ba Thuoc district) excitedly.

Ms. Le Thi Tuyet - owner of The Palm Pu Luong homestay said: "We have completed preparations from rooms, food, staff to trekking and cycling tours across the village for guests. During the rice harvest season, guests have fully booked rooms on weekends."

“Visitors to Pu Luong at this time really enjoy it because they can see the ripe rice, experience the local culture, bathe in the stream, make a campfire... This is a “golden” season in both the literal and figurative sense for the local tourism industry,” Ms. Tuyet added.
