(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the evening of May 10, at An Duong Park, the People's Committee of An Duong District organized a "Workers - Farmers - Soldiers" Music and Dance Festival combined with a performance of Ao Dai with the theme "I love Vietnamese Ao Dai". The program is a practical activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025), and at the same time respond to the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival - Hai Phong in 2025.
The festival gathered nearly 300 actors from 10 art troupes of wards in the district, including club members, officials, civil servants, employees, workers at agencies, units, schools, enterprises and armed forces. The performances were elaborately staged, diverse in content, rich in performance forms, creating a lively, exciting atmosphere and spreading pride among officials, party members and people.
The highlight of the program was the Ao Dai performance with the theme “I love Vietnamese Ao Dai”, gathering nearly 50 members of the District Women’s Union and more than 20 professional models. The traditional and modern Ao Dai collections introduced bear the cultural and historical imprints of Hai Phong city and An Duong district. The program not only honors the beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai in modern life but also contributes to spreading the value of national cultural heritage to the community.
In recent years, An Duong district has continuously paid attention to comprehensively developing the spiritual and cultural life of the people in parallel with socio -economic development. The annual "Workers - Farmers - Soldiers" Music and Dance Festival is an opportunity for cadres, soldiers and people to express their feelings and steadfast belief in the Party and beloved Uncle Ho; at the same time, it contributes to promoting the spirit of "All people unite to build a cultural life" in the district.
