DHAKA TRIBUNE. French President Emmanuel Macron and host Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina discussed a “commitment” from Bangladeshi airline Biman to purchase 10 A350s from Airbus, under a potential deal worth up to $3.2 billion.

Xinhua News Agency. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will visit China from September 14-16 at the invitation of Premier Li Qiang, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning announced on September 11.
Xinhua News Agency. President Nicolas Maduro declared that Venezuela and China – two countries that benefit from a friendly relationship and shared “common destiny” – are both committed to the goals of peace, development, and cooperation.

WALL STREET JOURNAL. The US and Saudi Arabia are negotiating to access supplies of metals in Africa – a commodity considered essential for the energy transition in both countries.
TIME OF ISRAEL. Israel begins piloting visa-free travel for U.S. citizens of Gaza (Palestinian) origin – the final component for Israel to join the U.S. Visa Waiver Program (VWP).

TASS. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will visit Russia in the coming days at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin press office announced.
REUTERS. Germany will provide an additional 20 million euros in aid to Ukraine, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announced during a surprise visit to Kyiv, Ukraine on November 19.

UKRINFORM. Ukraine and Sweden will jointly produce the CV90 infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), which is capable of better operation in all terrains with reinforced multi-layered armor, according to Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Maliar.
REUTERS. A spokesperson for British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak emphasized on September 11 that China represents a “challenge of our time,” but London still needs to cooperate with Beijing instead of making loud pronouncements on the sidelines.
AFP. Spanish authorities said four people were killed and three others injured when a passenger train struck them as they crossed tracks outside a permitted crossing area on September 10.

AXIOS. The United States and Bahrain plan to sign a strategic economic and security agreement this week, including a commitment to consult with and provide assistance if Bahrain faces a potential security threat.
RIO NEWS. Brazil's Civil Defense agency announced that a total of 44 people have died and 46 remain missing after a tropical storm hit the south last week.
AP. The Panamanian government has announced new measures to stop the large number of migrants and refugees attempting to cross the dangerous Darien Gap jungle, which connects the country to Colombia.

FRANCE 24. The French government confirmed its commitment to spend 5 million euros (5.4 million USD) to support organizations present in Morocco in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake a few days earlier.
AFP. At least 150 people have died in devastating floods in Libya caused by Hurricane Daniel sweeping across the Mediterranean.
AHRAM. On September 9th, Egypt's State Statistics Agency (CAPMAS) released official figures showing that inflation in the country reached an unprecedented 39.7% in August.
Oceania
REUTERS. A September 11 poll showed a sharper decline in support for including an Indigenous advisory body in the Australian Constitution, putting the landmark proposal at risk of failure ahead of a national vote next month.
