
Continuing the search journey, on November 6, at the Hill 82 Martyrs' Cemetery ( Tay Ninh province), the Steering Committee for searching, collecting and identifying martyrs' remains (Steering Committee 515) of Military Region 7 held a ceremony to assign the task of searching and collecting martyrs' remains in Cambodia in phase XXV (dry season 2025-2026).

In this 25th deployment, four teams K70, K71, K72 and K73 were assigned to search in 10 provinces of Cambodia, with a plan to search and collect about 825 martyrs' remains, of which about 35 martyrs' remains are expected to be collected in a "mass grave" area in the Oddar Meanchey Provincial Road campus.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Tran Chi Tam, Deputy Political Commissar, Head of Steering Committee 515 of Military Region 7, emphasized that the search, collection and repatriation of martyrs' remains is not only the responsibility of the armed forces but also a command from the heart, to show gratitude and ease the pain of loss of relatives and families of martyrs, demonstrating the nation's morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking water".

To ensure absolute safety for people during the mission, Major General Tran Chi Tam requested the four teams to be proactive, creative, and flexible in organizing implementation; carefully review assigned areas, conclude information from each surveyed area; coordinate synchronously between forces and mobilize maximum resources and participation of the whole society, organize implementation with responsibility and deep affection.


During the mission, the teams must clearly identify the international nature of the mission, strictly comply with the laws of the host country, respect the customs and practices of the Cambodian people; and strengthen coordination with the military forces and local authorities of other countries in verification and survey.
At the same time, take care of the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers; maintain internal solidarity, strictly observe discipline, and promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in international relations and cooperation.
