Kien An District Party Committee posthumously awarded the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother", awarded the Party Badge and summarized 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW

At the Ceremony, Kien An District Party Committee announced Decision No. 128/QD-CTN dated January 22, 2025 ofthe President on posthumously awarding the State honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to Ms. Dang Thi Loi, residing in Dong Hoa ward, in recognition of her great sacrifice and contribution to the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the Fatherland.

According to the Decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, in the period of May 19, 2025, Kien An District Party Committee had 121 party members awarded the Party Badge. At the ceremony, Kien An District Party Committee awarded the Party Badge to 29 outstanding party members, including: 01 party member receiving the 75-year Party membership badge, 01 party member with 65 years, 12 party members with 60 years, 5 party members with 55 years, and 10 party members awarded the 50-year, 45-year, 40-year, and 30-year Party membership badges. This is a noble award of the Party to recognize the great contributions of party members in the cause of national liberation struggle, construction and development of the homeland and country.

Reporting on the 10-year implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo , Chairman of the People's Council of Kien An district Nguyen Truong Son said that Party committees at all levels in the area have strengthened leadership and direction, promoted propaganda, and seriously implemented the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle, in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee and the local political tasks.

The content of studying and following Uncle Ho's example is included in the action program, with specific and practical solutions, contributing to raising the sense of responsibility and exemplary spirit of cadres and party members.

After 10 years, the urban appearance of the district has become more and more spacious, people's lives have improved significantly, national defense and security have been maintained. Party building and mass mobilization have achieved positive results; patriotic emulation movements have been widely launched. Hundreds of outstanding collectives and individuals have been commended and rewarded, contributing to spreading good values ​​throughout society.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Pham Van Thep, Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, expressed his deep gratitude to the relatives of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Do Thi Loi and the Party members who were awarded the Party Badge, recognizing their great contributions to the cause of building, protecting and developing the country, Hai Phong city in general and Kien An district in particular.

Comrade Pham Van Thep congratulated the outstanding collectives and individuals who were awarded at the Conference summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW, and highly appreciated the leadership, direction, and serious and methodical implementation of Kien An district in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style. The implementation of Directive 05 is closely linked to political tasks, campaigns, emulation movements, and effectively solving people's problems, contributing to raising awareness, sense of responsibility, and public ethics of cadres, civil servants, and public employees. Thereby, the work of Party building, socio-economic development, and maintaining national defense and security of the district has achieved many outstanding results.

In the coming time, the Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the City Party Committee suggested that Kien An district continue to identify studying and following Uncle Ho as the core content in Party building; make studying and following become a regular and practical task; select breakthroughs and key tasks for effective implementation. At the same time, focus on discovering and replicating advanced models, strengthening inspection, supervision, social criticism, and timely summarizing and concluding. The district also needs to strictly implement the direction of the Central Committee and the City Party Committee on arranging and streamlining the apparatus, especially arranging administrative units at the ward level; improve the sense of responsibility of the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees. The focus is on leading and directing well the preparation and organization of Party congresses at all levels according to Circular No. 12-TT/TU (dated April 24, 2025) and Plan No. 464-KH/TU (dated April 26, 2025) of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.
