Quang Binh promotes tourism and investment in the Czech Republic

(QBĐT) - On June 3 (local time), within the framework of the Program to promote Vietnamese localities in the Czech Republic and the Kingdom of Belgium, a delegation of Quang Binh province had a working session with the authorities of Karlovy Vary province, Czech Republic.

The program is organized by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) in coordination with the Vietnamese Embassies in European countries and the People's Committees of the provinces and cities: Quang Binh, Bac Lieu, Vinh Long, Phu Yen and Hue City.

The delegation of Quang Binh province was led by Comrade Doan Ngoc Lam, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Accompanying him were Comrade Nguyen Cong Huan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Science and Technology, Finance and the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Ngoc Lam introduced an overview of the potential, strengths and sustainable development orientation of Quang Binh .

Comrade Doan Ngoc Lam, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, spoke at the meeting.

He emphasized the areas that the province prioritizes to attract investment such as tourism, science and technology, and innovation; at the same time, he proposed to strengthen cooperation in promoting destinations, developing resort-cultural tourism, cultural industry, especially building film studio destinations.

Mayor of Karlovy Vary, Ms. Andrea Pfeffer Ferklová, appreciated the interest of Vietnamese localities and expressed her desire to promote effective cooperation, especially activities related to the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic and Europe.

Quang Binh province delegation took souvenir photos with members participating in the working session.

Karlovy Vary is a famous tourist center of the Czech Republic, known as the film capital and the world's leading spa town with a system of hot springs, accommodation facilities and modern tourist infrastructure.

From June 4-13, the Quang Binh delegation will continue promotional activities in the Czech Republic, Belgium and Switzerland with many important contents to expand international cooperation in the fields of investment, tourism and science and technology.
