Quang Binh surveys some agricultural production, transportation and tourism models in Yamanashi

(Quang Binh Portal) - On August 20 and 21, 2024, a delegation of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee led by Mr. Tran Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, surveyed a number of production, business, transportation, agriculture and tourism models in Yamanashi Province (Japan). Accompanying them were Mr. Phan Manh Hung, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Le Vinh The, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, localities and enterprises.

The delegation visited Fugaku Transport Company, the largest transport business unit in Yamanashi Prefecture, and visited the Komekurayama Energy Storage Technology Research Facility (P2G System).

During the survey, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation discussed with the factory's leadership about cooperation in research, learning and exchanging experiences in piloting green hydrogen production in Quang Binh .

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee surveyed the World Heritage Mount Fuji

Next, the delegation of the Provincial People's Committee also surveyed the World Heritage Mount Fuji. This is the highest sacred mountain in Japan with a height of 3,776m, considered a symbol of luck, goodness and the spirit of solidarity and resilience of the Japanese people. Mount Fuji was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage in 2013 thanks to its cultural values.

Owning the same World Heritage, Quang Binh and Yamanashi will support each other in the work of preserving and promoting the value of the Heritage. The two localities will establish a cooperative relationship between the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board, Quang Binh Province and the Fuji World Heritage Office, Yamanashi Province, thereby sharing experiences in the fields of scientific research and international cooperation, cooperating in training to improve the quality of staff in World Heritage management, and promoting investment.
