In Mang But commune, due to the earthquake, some schools in the area had cracked walls and fallen tiles: specifically, at Mang But 2 Ethnic Boarding School for Primary and Secondary Students, the headmaster's building had its tiled roof on the 2nd floor completely damaged (currently has 1 kindergarten class (36 students) and 1 computer room with 28 computers serving teaching activities for 100 primary school students); the earthquake caused the block of boarding student rooms with 60 students to have cracked walls; 5 teachers' rooms with tiled roofs in the back had signs of displacement and broken roof structures.

At Dak Chun and Dak Lanh schools, there were two detected structural cracks between the walls and structural columns of the surrounding walls after the earthquake.
