Lo Xo Pass through Quang Ngai has opened to traffic.

Immediately after the route was opened, under the guidance of the traffic police, about 30 vehicles that had been stuck for many days in the border area between Quang Ngai and Da Nang City moved safely towards Quang Ngai. Up to now, there are no more isolated vehicles or people in the Lo Xo Pass area.

According to SGGP reporters, the Ho Chi Minh road section through Da Nang city is still eroded and cut off at Km1373+150, in Kham Duc commune. Therefore, authorities advise drivers not to travel from Quang Ngai to Da Nang via this route because the risk of landslides is still high.

After clearing the pass, the stuck driver was guided to leave the pass and return to Quang Ngai territory.

As reported, since October 26, landslides have occurred continuously at Lo Xo Pass in the border area between Quang Ngai and Da Nang City, causing traffic disruption and isolating people and vehicles on the pass for many days. From the evening of October 28 to the morning of October 29, about 30 vehicles stuck on the pass were guided to move safely to Da Nang City.
