However, in addition to the landslides that have just been repaired, many old landslides on Lo Xo Pass (which occurred since October 26) are still not cleared. According to the commune leaders, there are still about 35 vehicles stuck in the pass area for many days. The authorities continue to mobilize machinery and human resources to focus on cleaning up, bringing drivers and vehicles out of the landslide area, ensuring safety.

In recent days, the work to overcome landslides on Lo Xo Pass has been vigorously carried out by the forces. Officers and soldiers of Ngoc Hoi Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police) are regularly on duty, coordinating with the local Party Committee and authorities of Dak Plo Commune, and the Lo Xo Pass SOS Team to supply food, patrol, warn of areas at risk of landslides and promptly notify the road management unit to handle, level and open the road. Ngoc Hoi Traffic Police Station recommends that people who want to go to Da Nang should not travel on Ho Chi Minh Road but travel via National Highway 24 to ensure safety.

As reported by SGGP, since October 26, landslides have occurred continuously at Lo Xo Pass in the area bordering Da Nang City and Quang Ngai Province, causing serious congestion on the vital road connecting the Central Highlands with the Central region. Many drivers and vehicles were separated at Dak Zon Bridge. From the night of October 28 and the morning of October 29, about 30 vehicles stuck in the above area moved to Kham Duc area (Da Nang City) for temporary shelter to avoid the risk of landslides; the rest are still stuck.
