In recent times, Quang Ngai province has focused resources on investing and developing infrastructure, especially traffic infrastructure with a number of important projects: Bridge and road connecting from the center of Son Tinh district to Tu Nghia district (old); Road connecting from Thach Bich bridge to Tinh Phong; Dung Quat - Sa Huynh coastal road, Hoang Sa - Doc Soi road; Bridge and road at both ends of the bridge from Ia Chim commune tourist wharf; Western bypass road of Kon Tum city (old); Truong Chinh road, Kon Tum city (old);...

In addition, irrigation and dyke infrastructures are invested and upgraded. Infrastructures for information technology and communications, education , healthcare, culture, tourism, science and technology are invested in accordance with the development requirements of industries and fields.

One of the breakthrough tasks stated in the political report presented to the 1st Congress of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 is to invest in developing synchronous and modern infrastructure, prioritizing transport, urban and technological infrastructure to serve the digital transformation, green transformation and energy transformation processes for rapid and sustainable development, adapting to climate change.

Accordingly, Quang Ngai focuses on investing, mobilizing and effectively using social resources in the form of public-private partnership to invest in and develop synchronous and modern infrastructure, especially key projects with spillover effects, creating momentum for development, meeting the production and business needs of enterprises and improving the quality of life of people.

Actively coordinate, especially in site clearance work to speed up investment progress of important traffic infrastructure projects in the province such as: North-South Expressway, Eastern section, Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon; North-South high-speed railway; Quang Ngai - Kon Tum Expressway; Dung Quat - Sa Huynh coastal road; Western bypass of Quang Ngai city (old)...

In addition, Quang Ngai will also propose to the Central Government to soon invest in the Ngoc Hoi - Kon Tum - Pleiku expressway; at the same time, pay attention to investing in upgrading National Highway 24, National Highway 40B, National Highway 40, National Highway 14C. Invest in transport infrastructure connecting Chu Lai airport; research and develop airports in Ly Son special economic zone, Mang Den airport, railway connecting the Central Highlands. Research and propose to the Central Government on the policy of investing in transport infrastructure connecting Bo Y international border gate and Dung Quat deep-water port.

Develop modern logistics infrastructure; build a multi-dimensional logistics network, elevate the region to become a strategic goods transit, tourism and service center of the Central Highlands, the Central Coast and the Mekong sub-region countries. Continue to invest in building seaports to become international transit points associated with the regional logistics center in Dung Quat Economic Zone according to the plan.

Develop synchronous infrastructure of economic zones and industrial zones to meet the needs of domestic and foreign investors. Prioritize resources to complete essential infrastructure in Dung Quat Economic Zone, especially the centralized industrial wastewater treatment system.

Focus on urban development associated with breakthroughs in technical and social infrastructure, landscape architecture towards ecological, civilized, smart, modern urban areas, adapting to climate change; urban development in the direction of public transport.

Mobilize resources

Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Hoang Giang said that in the coming time, the locality will continue to take advantage of resources and attention from the Central Government to continue investing in completing key traffic works and projects, such as the Quang Ngai - Kon Tum expressway, the Dung Quat - Sa Huynh coastal road... At the same time, National Highway 24 will be upgraded soon to connect Bo Y International Border Gate Economic Zone with Dung Quat Economic Zone and Chu Lai Open Economic Zone.

“Coordinate with central ministries and branches to continue researching investment in developing Mang Den airport, Ly Son airport and expressways connecting the Central Highlands with other regions, Quang Ngai - Quang Nam expressway to enhance international connectivity through Bo Y international border gate and within the region. Promote investment in modern, synchronous urban areas and residential areas, associated with environmental protection, economic and social development. Upgrade and expand the transport system within the city, within the region and in mountainous and rural areas; electricity, water, telecommunications, etc., to meet the needs of socio-economic development and people's daily life”, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province emphasized.
