The special programs that tourists cannot miss when coming to Quang Ninh this year include the Ha Long Carnival 2025, Bach Dang Traditional Festival, Quang Ninh Ethnic Culture Festival 2025, Aqua Warriors HaLong Bay 2025, Quang Ninh Summer OCOP Fair 2025, Motorized Kite and Paragliding Festival, Lion and Dragon Festival... In addition, in the third and fourth quarters of 2025, the Autumn-Winter Tourism Week will take place with major sports tournaments such as the National U23 Fencing Championship 2025, Quang Ninh Open Sports Dance Tournament, Yen Tu Heritage Marathon 2025...

In particular, the most anticipated program with a grand investment organized on the occasion of April 30 and May 1 is the Ha Long Carnival program, with the theme "Connecting Heritage, Pioneering Shining", taking place at Sun Carnival Square. The program includes a series of activities: Ha Long Carnival grand ball, DJ performance, high-altitude fireworks display. On the sidelines of the program, there are also activities such as masquerade balls, flashmob performances, and booths to experience masquerade...

Next is the art program "Legend of the Heritage Land" held in Ha Long city, Mong Cai city and tourist areas and spots. Also in 2025, in addition to renewing the tours and routes on Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh will also launch 10 new itineraries on Bai Tu Long Bay. In this new itinerary, visitors will be able to explore new attractive destinations such as: Phat Co Island where Phat Co Cave is located - the second largest cave in Bai Tu Long Bay, experience kayaking, and explore the floating farm growing carrageenan. The Black Rock area is also an interesting stop for visitors to learn about the process of cultivating premium pearls, with world-class quality.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province, in the first 3 months of the year, the number of tourists to Quang Ninh is estimated at 5,680,000, reaching 106% over the same period in 2024, domestic visitors are estimated at 4,505,000, international visitors are estimated at 1,175,000. Total revenue in the first quarter is estimated at 13,180 billion VND.

In particular, it is expected that in 2025 there will be about 60 cruise ships from many countries around the world such as England, France, Germany, China... carrying nearly 90,000 visitors to Quang Ninh, an increase of 1.3 times compared to 2024.

It can be seen that if in the first quarter, cultural and spiritual tourism activities in Quang Ninh attracted a large number of visitors, then in the second quarter, sea tourism products became a strong point, considered the golden time for Quang Ninh to make a breakthrough.
